Frequently Asked Questions

Do SCiB™ cells need to be electrically insulated from each other when used in series or parallel connections?

SCiB™ cell terminals and outer cell cans have electric potential, so insulation between cells is required when they are connected in series or parallel. If cells are used without insulation between them, problems such as electrolytic corrosion of the outer cell cans may occur.
