Do you have any adoption or installation experience in railway applications, including onboard vehicles and related systems?
SCiB™ has been adopted by various customers for railway applications.
For details, please see Railway application examples.
Even in non-electrified sections where diesel locomotives were previously used, trains can run on battery power alone by using power rapidly charged to SCiB™ in electrified sections and by efficiently utilizing regenerative power generated during deceleration.
In addition, more railway vehicles are being equipped with batteries as backup power sources in the event of power loss. SCiB™ is suitable for emergency backup power because it has little battery degradation and high safety and reliability.
