Frequently Asked Questions

What makes it possible for SCiB™ to be charged/discharged at a large current?(No.1611)

Charging and discharging at large currents are made possible by SCiB™'s unique electrode design, which lowers internal resistance and prevents heat generation. Also, the lithium titanate on the anode prevents the formation of lithium metal dendrites on SCiB™ when it is charged at a large current.

Therefore, SCiB™ can collect regenerative power as trains or automobiles decelerate and supply large currents when you need them to start motors.
