Industrial Cameras FAQ/Camera outputs no signal to DI...
Camera outputs no signal to DIO(GPIO) pin. (No.298)
In some BU series camera, I/O mode factory setting of DIO(GPIO) line has been changed to input mode.
If user application handles DIO(GPIO) lines as output line without setting Line I/O mode register to output mode, the camera may not output signal from DIO(GPIO) line.
User application should set Line I/O mode to output mode using SetCamLineModeAll() or GenICam functions before handling DIO(GPIO) lines as output port. Bit0 (1), bit1 (2), and bit2 (4) in LineModeAll register correspond to I/O mode of Line 0 (External Trigger Input), Line 1, and Line 2.
For example, when LineModeAll register value is 2, Line 1 is output mode, Line 0 and Line 2 are input mode.
Note that there are camera models whose I/O mode of DIO(GPIO) lines are fixed. Please check instruction manual of the camera about I/O mode of DIO(GPIO) line.
