Industrial Cameras FAQ/Too dark images are acquired u...

Too dark images are acquired under flashing light synchronizing with external trigger signal.(No.1517)

The light might not be flashing within sensor exposure timing range, due to the camera parameters such as Exposure timeTriggerDelay, AntiGlitch, and so on.
Please check the setting of Exposure time, TriggerDelay, AntiGlitch registers.
The internal delay time of the image sensor might be also the cause of this phenomenon.
The internal delay time depends on image sensor model. There are sensor models whose internal delay time exceeds 10 microsecinds.
For example, internal delay of BU238M is about 14.5 microseconds.
Please refer to instruction manual of the camera and adjust the timing to make flashing light on.
